This telephony system records audio in a single channel (mono). That is, the audio from the two parties is merged into a single channel, and there's no easy way to tell who is speaking on the call.
Will Gong be able to separate speakers from this telephony system?
For telephony systems like that record audio in a single channel, Gong will attempt to separate speakers over time.
Gong will accumulate a number of representative calls by the recorded user, and will scan them to find the common speaker.
In addition to identifying speakers on the call, Gong will attempt to break down the call into segments, each associated with a single speaker.
Connecting with Gong
Ask your Aircall admin to give you the Aircall API keys and Token.
Import users to Gong and set them to record before integrating Aircall in Gong.
In the Settings page, click Telephony systems.
Click + Add telephony system.
Enter the API Keys.
Enter the Token.
How Aircall recording works:
Generally, when teams turn Aircall on to record, it will be "auto record". The way individuals can turn off recording within AirCall is via a "pause button". This actually stops the recording.
How to stop or start again recording of your call
Your Aircall account has active automatic call recording.
When you are on active call click the three dots button as shown on the screenshot.
Now in the roll down window click the “pause call recording” button
You can start recording again by clicking the three dots button and ”start call recording”
