FAQ
To view gifting activity against a Gong account or person, you do not need Gong engage. You can simply search for the person or account in the search bar or Deals page, and view the activity against that person or account. To send a gift from Reachdesk by sending an email from a Gong contact, you need to have Gong Engage.
A technical administrator user in Gong who has permissions to install integrations will need to login to their Reachdesk account to connect Reachdesk with Gong. Once the Reachdesk app is installed, any user in Gong will be able to use the Reachdesk app, as long as they use their Reachdesk login when sending a gift.
This will happen automatically once the Reachdesk app is integrated with Gong. If there is a gift sent to a contact in Gong that matches the email used in Reachdesk, we will sync the gift activity to that Gong person. If the email domain matches the domain for a Gong account, we will sync the gift activity to that Gong account.
Gift activity will only be synced for gifts that have a status updated to one of the statuses below after Reachdesk is integrated with Gong; we will not sync gift activities for gifts that have already been claimed prior to the integration.

To send a Reachdesk gift from Gong, you need to have access to Gong engage. The only method we support from Gong is generating a gift link that can be sent in a Gong email.
- Go to Engage > People and look for the person you want to send an email to.
- Click on the “Write email” button to show the email editor.
- Click on Integrations and select “Reachdesk”
- Login to your Reachdesk account
- Follow the steps to generate a gift link
- Send your email with the gift link to your Gong contact
Once the link is generated, you can also share the link in other platforms.
